- As a Contractor / Installer Assistant Carpenter / Installer, you will support the lead installer in various retail projects, including but not limited to Fixture installs, Shelving Installs, Framing & Dry Wall Installs, Wall Repairs, Painting and general Construction Cleaning.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assists Lead Installer in the installation of the job, ensuring that the job is done right the first time.
- Ability to Interact with customers in a professional manner
- Loads / Unloads materials for job
- Learns aspects of lead installer’s responsibilities
- Safely perform all aspects of job in compliance with all federal, state & local laws
Commercial Construction Site Superintendent:

Job Summary:
T&V Construction is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Site Superintendent to lead our on-site field operations. In this role, you will take full ownership of the job site, managing daily operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and up to quality standards. You will serve as the primary on-site link between project managers, design teams, and trades.
Core Responsibilities:
Site Management & Coordination:
- Direct Daily Operations: To maintain constant forward progress on the project site.
- Coordinate Subcontractors & Vendor: To ensure seamless workflow and site readiness.
- Manage Logistics: Including the staging, inventory, and security of materials and equipment.
- Review Technical Drawings & Blueprints: To verify that trades match specific design details.
- Schedule & Budget Control: To Maintain project schedule by working with Program Manager & Client Reps. To Ensure materials are phased and brought to site.
- Drive Project Schedules: by anticipating workflow delays & contacting trades weeks in advance.
- Track Field Productivity: by being proactive to solve logistical bottlenecks & maintain milestone targets.
- Identify Scope Changes: by being early to manage field variations & minimize costly COs.
- Safety & Quality Assurance: ensure site is cleaned daily & proper barricades & protection is installed.
- Enforce Zero-Tolerance Safety: adhering to OSHA regulations & company safety policies.
- Conduct Routine Inspections: to make sure work complies with local building codes & specifications.
- Lead Weekly Meetings: including project progress, safety check-ins, and coordination reviews.
- Reporting & Closeout: Log daily reports containing photos labor hours, and progress reports.
- Manage project closeout: by building, assigning, and resolving the final project punch list.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5–10 years in commercial construction & 5+ years actively serving as a lead field superintendent.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of MEP systems, Commercial structural frameworks building codes, & local regulations.
- Blueprint Literacy: Mastery in reading & interpreting architectural, structural, civil, and engineered drawings.
- Certifications:
- Software Skills: Experience documenting field progress using PM tools like – Procore.
- Attributes: Excellent communication skills, a firm leadership style, a clean driving record, and a hands-on problem-solving mindset.

- Education: High school diploma, GED, or completed carpentry apprenticeship.
- Travel : Be willing and able to travel around the Eastern Shore board of the US – so covering NC, SC, Eastern TN, GA, FL, WV and VA to name a few.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and dependable transit to shifting Regional and National job sites.

Journeyman Carpenter / Construction Worker:

Salary Range: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Job Summary:
T&V Construction is seeking reliable Construction Workers with strong Carpentry skills to join our growing Retail field crew. This hybrid role requires a candidate who can handle both general construction site duties and precision structural/finish carpentry tasks. The ideal candidate works well with teams, follows tight safety parameters, and takes pride in building strong, long-lasting structures.
Core Responsibilities:
- Frame building structures: Construct and install wood and steel frameworks, and walls.
- Install finish fixtures: Interior Fixtures, trim and baseboards. Paint and Wall Covering installs
- Read blueprints accurately: Interpret project layouts, technical drawings, and building specifications.
- Operate jobsite machinery: Safely use power saws, drills, pneumatic nailers, and leveling equipment.
- Perform site support: Clean up debris, set up barricades and be able to assist team trades when necessary.
- Execute precision math: Measure, cut, and shape building materials to exact specifications.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of professional construction or carpentry experience.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or completed carpentry apprenticeship preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long shifts.
- Travel: Be willing and able to travel around the Eastern Shore board of the US – so covering NC, SC, Eastern TN, GA, FL, WV and VA to name a few.
- Tool Kit: Possession of standard hand tools (hammer, speed square, tape measure). T&V Construction has a large selection of required tools to complete the tasks.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and dependable transit to shifting Regional and National job sites.
